Muon Space offers mission-critical satellite data services to support your operations. Whether you’re looking to monitor an event or report an issue, this guide covers everything you need to know.
🔭 What Is a Tasking Request?
A Tasking Request allows you to schedule satellite operations over specific geographic areas. Common use cases include:
Monitoring hurricanes, wildfires, or other natural events
Collecting imagery over a region of interest
Requesting custom satellite maneuvers
Tasking requests are carefully tracked to ensure accuracy and timely delivery. Once submitted, they follow these steps:
Submission: You send your request through the Tasking portal or API.
Validation: Our team confirms feasibility based on current satellite schedules.
Scheduling: Your task is added to the satellite's activity queue.
Execution & Data Delivery: The satellite performs the task, and the data pipeline kicks off automatically for processing and delivery.
📌 Pro tip: Include all relevant coordinates, time windows, and task priorities to ensure smooth processing.
